Phase 1 study to assess the effect breakfast, dinner and Calcium/Vitamin D tablets have on an investigational formulation of an osteoporosis drug

The University of Florida, Center for Clinical Trials Research is conducting a clinical research study to assess the effect breakfast, dinner and Calcium /Vitamin D tablets have on an investigational formulation of an osteoporosis drug. Your participation will require the following: 1 screening visit, 2 sessions each requiring a 4-night consecutive stay and 1 session requiring a 5-night consecutive stay at our Phase I Unit at 2401 SW Archer Road, Gainesville, FL 32608. You may receive up to $2,900.00 for completing the study requirements. Food and lodging will be provided to you during our overnight stays. Drug and alcohol testing will be done.

Patient Inclusion Criteria: Healthy, non-smoking, postmenopausal or surgically sterile females aged 40-70 years. Please call our recruiting department to get more information about the patient inclusion criteria.
