Have you been diagnosed with high blood pressure (hypertension)?

The Rogosin Institute is conducting a clinical research study testing two FDA-approved drugs, aliskiren and extended-release metoprolol.

Patient Inclusion Criteria:

  • Age 18 - 80 years
  • Have been diagnosed with high blood pressure
  • Have a usual blood pressure below 180/105 mm Hg

Patient Exclusion Criteria:

  • Have diabetes, heart disease, or lung problems
  • You are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant in the next six months
