Disease Category: High Cholesterol (Hyperlipidemia)
Trial Information
Are you concerned about your high cholesterol?
Do you have high cholesterol and NO history of heart disease or
diabetes? If you do, you may qualify for an 8 month research study
of an investigational medication that may lower cholesterol.
All qualified participants will receive:
- Study-related physical exams
- Electrocardiograms (ECG)
- Therapeutic Lifestyle Change counseling (nutrition and exercise
instruction)
- Laboratory tests and study drug
- Routine clinic visits with a research coordinator and/or
physician
