Sarah Cannon Research Institute names new CFO, CIO

Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI), based in Nashville, Tenn., has named Ajay Gupta chief financial officer and Andy Corts chief information officer.

Gupta previously was CFO for the imaging/oncology services division within HCA Healthcare, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, managing the financial operations and oversight of joint ventures and wholly-owned HCA entities.

Corts previously was director of collaborative services at SCRI and was responsible for the development of electronic health record strategy as well as the clinical trial portal, mySCRI. Prior to joining SCRI, Corts was director in HCA’s IT strategy and planning department.
