Omnicare Clinical Research Opens Seoul Office

Thursday, November 5, 2009 08:33 AM

Pennsylvania-based Omnicare Clinical Research, a global contract research organization (CRO), has opened an office in Seoul, South Korea.

“Since 2006, we have been conducting studies in South Korea with a local partner,” said Benoit Martin, president, International for Omnicare Clinical Research.

“Opening our own office in Seoul enables us to strengthen our presence in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as reinforce our global commitment to our clients. The new facility will also create added value in response to the Japanese authorities’ mandate to provide data outside of Japan.”

Omnicare Clinical Research has had a presence in the Asia-Pacific region since its Australia office opened in 1985. The company’s other offices in the area include Beijing and Shanghai, China; Singapore; Taipei, Taiwan; Tokyo, Japan; and Bangalore, India.
