Research Center Profile:
Laureate Psychiatric Clinic and Hospital

Laureate Psychiatric Clinic and Hospital is part of Saint
Francis Health System founded in 1988 by the William K. Warren
Foundation.
Laureate is a private, not-for-profit, freestanding psychiatric
facility. In addition to a full spectrum of psychiatric services,
we are also involved in continuing research and education for the
general public and professional community. At Laureate, we want our
patients not only to recover and function, but also to experience a
fulfilling life within their family, business and community.
The Laureate campus is set on 47 acres of rolling hills, in a
series of related buildings forming a retreat-like atmosphere. Its
beautifully landscaped surroundings include wooded courtyards,
walking trails, a waterfall and a small lake. Everything on campus,
from the outpatient clinic to patient rooms, is designed with
patient needs in mind.
The fact that Laureate is affiliated with Saint Francis
Hospital, a leader among superb tertiary care medical facilities,
only adds to its solid reputation. Advanced medical technology is
available at Saint Francis immediately adjacent to the Laureate
campus. Laureate Psychiatric Clinic and Hospital provides direct
medical services throughout northeastern Oklahoma through the Saint
Francis Health System's extensive network of out-reach and
off-site clinics and hospitals.
Levels of Care
Laureate provides acute inpatient care, partial hospitalization,
and intensive or traditional outpatient services. We offer a
comprehensive range of psychiatric approaches. From full
hospitalization to day treatment to outpatient, patients progress
individually toward achieving their treatment goals.
In addition to our psychiatric services for children,
adolescents, adults and seniors, we have intensive outpatient
programs for those with chemical dependency, eating disorders and
mood disorders, with new specialty programs constantly being
developed. Activities and services include independent living
skills, leisure and vocational exploration, education, physical
fitness and creative expression.
