Trial Information
Summary: Menopause, Isn't it time to talk to a doctor?
If hot flashes or night sweats interfere with your busy life,
hormone therapy may offer an effective alternative for your
menopause symptoms. A research study is testing an investigational
medication to relieve the intensity and frequency of menopause
symptoms. If you're ready to try hormone therapy, you may want
to consider trial participation.
Patient Inclusion Criteria
- Ages 45-65
- Naturally menopausal with no periods for at least 6 months or
surgically menopausal for at least 6 weeks
- Experiencing 7 or more hot flashes per day
- Willing to kepp a daily record of your symptoms using a
touch-tone phone
- Willing to attend up to 6 study visits over a 20 week
period
