Summary: Volunteers needed for a pediatric allergic asthma research study.

The Clinical Trials Center at Winthrop University Hospital is conducting a research study for children with allergic asthma that have not shown improvement in controlling their asthma with standard treatments such as high-dose AdvairŪ or similar medications.

Qualified participants will receive study medication and study-related medical care at no cost, and may receive compensation for time and travel.

To be eligible for the study you must:

  • Be male or female between the ages of 12 and 17.
  • Have difficulty breathing during increased activity or have trouble sleeping due to asthma symptoms.
