Trial Information
Summary: Cough Getting Worse? Breathing More Difficult? Coughing Up More Sputum? Is Sputum More Yellow? History of COPD?
If your Doctor says you have an Acute Exacebation of your
Chronic Bronchitis, you may qualify for a Clincal Research
Study.
Requirements:
- Be at least 35 years old
- Not allergic to penicillins or macrolides
- History of smoking
- Able to swallow pills/capsules
- Have not taken an antibiotic in the last 2 weeks
- Must have a clinical diagnosis of acute exacerbation of chronic
bronchitis with increased or worsening cough, difficulty breathing,
sputum production and purulence (yellow color sputum)
Research Subjects Recieve:
- Research related medical evaluation
- Study medication
