Summary: Osteoporosis, Phase III
One in two women over age 50 will suffer an osteoporosis-related
fracture in her lifetime.
Osteoporosis is a disease that makes bones weak and more likely
to break.
Dr. Suzanne Trupin at Women's Health Practice is conducting
a study to determine the safety and effectiveness of an
investigational medication for the treatment of osteoporosis in
postmenopausal women.
You may qualify for this study if you are a woman 50 years of
age or older, have not had a period in 5 years or longer, and are
able to walk and move about. You will receive study medication,
calcium supplements, bone density tests, physical exams, and
laboratory tests at no cost. You may also receive compensation for
time and travel.

- Less than 50 years of age Currently taking
bisphosphonates
