Summary: Does your child have Ulcerative Colitis? You may want to look into our research study available for children with moderately to severely active Ulcerative Colitis (UC).

In this clinical study we are seeking volunteers to test the effectiveness of the study drug for the treatment of children with moderate to severely active ulcerative colitis (UC).

The study drug has already been approved in the US for the treatment of UC in adults, and was approved in 2006 for the treatment of Crohn’s Disease in pediatric patients.

Study inclusion / exclusion criteria:

  • 6-17 years of age
  • Have moderately to severely active UC
  • Have UC for at least 2 weeks
  • Have not received infliximab or any other TNF antagonist
