Does your child have reflux (or GERD) symptoms that don’t go away with medication?
If your child experiences the typical symptoms of reflux or GERD (vomiting, chest pain, chest burning, and/or difficulty swallowing), your child may have Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EE). 1st Health Centers is conducting a study of a new medication to treat EE in children.
This study involves 6 visits over the course of 15 weeks. Qualified participants will receive financial compensation for time and travel.
Patient Inclusion Criteria:
- Ages 5 - 18 years old
- having at least one of the following symptoms of active EE
Vomiting, spitting up, abdominal pain, chest pain/heartburn, difficulty swallowing
- tried acid reflux therapy without relief from symptoms
