Summary: Crohn's Disease

Patients with moderate to severe Crohn's disease that in non responsive to, or intolerant of steroids, immunosuppresants and biologics. Patient must have ileocolitis, colitis, or ileitis and can not have permanent colostomy or ileostomy. All study exams, procedures and medications are furnished at no cost and patients will be paid $55.00 for each completed clinic visit, up to a possible $440.00 to cover time and travel expenses.

Patient Inclusion Criteria: Patients 18 to 70 years of age with active Crohn's disease that is non responsive to, or intolerant of steroids, immunosuppresants and biologics. Patient must have Ileocolitis, Colitis or Ileitis and able to come to the clinic for up to seven visits in a two month period.

Patient Exclusion Criteria: Permanent colostomy or ileostomy, evidence of alcohol or substance abuse for the last six months, active hepatitis B or C, or HIV Infection. Surgery or Trauma within the last six weeks, allergic to CT contrast agents or bovine (cow) or porcine (pig) products.
