The purpose of this study is to determine the efficacy and safety of OPC-6535 in the treatment of Ulcerative Colitis.

• Male/Female 18 to 80 years of age
• Diagnosis of active ulcerative colitis, as diagnosed by colonoscopy, and have relapsed in the past 12 weeks
