Summary: Bacterial Conjunctivitis Research Study: Sounds like Pink Eye?

Your patients may qualify if they. . .

  • Are at least 1 year of age.
  • Wake up with crusty and sticky eyes.
  • Have had symptoms present for 3 days or less.

But will not qualify if they. . .

  • Have used antibiotics within the last 3 days.
  • Used any anti-inflammatory eye drops in the last 2 days.
  • Used any eye drops, such as arificial tears, within the last 2 hours.
