Summary: Are you seeing the signs of asthma and allergies?
Official Title: A Multicenter,Randomized,
Double-Blind, Triple-Dummy, Placebo-Controlled, Parallel
Group,Four-Week Study Assessing the Efficacy of Fluticasone
Propionate Aqueous Nasal Spray 200mcg QD versus Montelukast 10mg QD
in Adolescent and Adult Subjects with Asthma and Seasonal Allergic
Rhinitis Who are Receiving ADVAIR DISKUS 100/50mcg BID or Placebo
BID
Condition: Asthma and Seasonal Allergies
Study Description: Our clinic is conducting a
clinical research study for adolescents and adults with both asthma
and seasonal allergies.
Patient Inclusion Criteria
You may be able to participate in this study if you:
- Are at least 15 years old
- Have been diagnosed with persistent asthma for at least the
past 3 months
- Have been diagnosed with seasonal allergic rhinitis that was
active during the past 2 allergy seasons
- Have been taking a stable dose of an allowed asthma treatment
for at least 3 months
- Study staff will review additional criteria with you.
Qualified study participants will be asked to come to the clinic
for 4-5 study visits over 5-6 weeks, and they will not be charged
for study-related office visits, medical evaluations, or study
medication.
Patient Exclusion Criteria
Currently Diagnosed with-
- Life Threatening Asthma
- Asthma Instability Concurrent
- Respiratory Disease
- Nasal Obstruction
Study staff will review additional criteria with you.
