Is Sputum More Yellow?
History of COPD?
If your Doctor says you have an Acute
Exacerbation of your Chronic Bronchitis,
you may qualify for a Clinical Research Study.
Requirements:
- Be at least 35 years old
- Not allergic to penicillins or macrolides
- History of smoking or airflow obstruction
- Able to swallow pills/capsules
- Have not taken an antibiotic in the last 30 days
- Must have a clinical diagnosis of acute exacerbation of chronic
bronchitis with increased or worsening cough, difficulty breathing,
sputum production and purulence (yellow color sputum)
Research subjects receive:
- Research related medical evaluation
- Study medication
