History of COPD?

If your Doctor says you have an Acute Exacerbation of your Chronic Bronchitis, you may qualify for a Clinical Research Study.

Requirements:

• Be at least 35 years old
• Not allergic to penicillins or macrolides
• History of smoking or airflow obstruction
• Able to swallow pills/capsules
• Have not taken an antibiotic in the last 30 days
• Must have a clinical diagnosis of acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis with increased or worsening cough, difficulty breathing, sputum production and purulence (yellow color sputum)

Research subjects receive:

• Research related medical evaluation
• Study medication
