Trial Information
Summary: Menopause (Hot Flash) Research Study
Menopause. Isn’t it time to talk to a Doctor?
If hot flashes or night sweats interfere with your busy life,
hormone therapy may offer an effective alternative for your
menopause symptoms.
A research study is testing an investigational medication to
relieve the intensity and frequency of menopause symptoms. If
you’re ready to try hormone therapy, you may want to consider trial
participation.
Are you:
- Between 45 and 65 years of age?
- Naturally menopausal (without periods) for a least 6
months
- OR surgically menopausal for at least 6 weeks?
- Experiencing 7 or more hot flashes per day?
- Willing to keep a daily record of your symptoms using a
touch-tone phone?
- Willing to attend up to 6 study visits over a 20 week
period?
To qualify you must be 45 and 65, have not had a period for a
least 6 months (or 6 weeks if surgically menopausal) and
experiencing frequent hot flashes. Qualified participants may
receive all study-related care and study medication at no cost.
And, you may be compensated for your time and travel.
