IACT Health is a leading, integrated, wholly-owned clinical research network uniquely staffed entirely by specialists. IACT Health's specialists are actively incorporating measures to improve the efficacy of physician investigations, improve trial success rates, and increase efficiency in research costs. With locations throughout Georgia, we conduct studies in the pharmaceutical, biotechnical and medical device industries. We do whatever it takes to provide the highest level of care for our patients, and deliver the highest level of results to you.

From initial contact with the pharmaceutical sponsor to the completion of the clinical trial, the physicians and staff at IACT Health are available throughout the clinical research experience, including but not limited to:

  • Excellence in patient care
  • Completion of all regulatory documents (which include site demographics to fit the patient population)
  • Budget and Contract negotiations
  • Hosting of scheduled site visits from the sponsor or CRO and their staff, to include personally escorting all persons involved and acting as a liaison
  • Maintaining all study documents onsite in our local offices
  • Maintaining all study related material to include study drug, devices and lab kits
  • Performing all study related ancillary services to include, but not limited to, ECGs, phlebotomy, specimen collection, testing and storage, drug infusion, radiology services, in-house pharmacist support, and study related home health nursing staff.

As a research study participant, volunteers often learn much more about their medical condition and become more aware of their condition’s symptoms as well as emerging treatments for their condition. To accommodate various needs of patient volunteers, we often provide transportation, transportation reimbursement and communication assistance (i.e. loan of cell phone). In addition, qualified participants receive study related procedures and medication at no cost.

Facility

Our medical research sites in Columbus, Rincon, and Gwinnett, Georgia are centrally located in the cities. Our facilities feature exam rooms, IV infusion rooms with leather recliners and flat screen television, procedure rooms, phlebotomy rooms and a fully-equipped laboratory. All of our facilities have an active medical staff of physicians and clinical coordinators to manage all clinical trials. CRAs have their own private desks with internet and telephone access, or they may use our spacious conference room when it is available. Subjects are allowed privacy in our quiet consent and exam rooms.

Biographies

Dr. Jeffrey Kingsley, Founder and CEO
Dr. Kingsley, DO, MBA, CPI, FACRP received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Scranton in 1995 and his Master of Science degree in 1997 in biochemistry. His medical degree was received from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2001 and his MBA was received from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School in 2011. He has been faculty with the Columbus Regional Health Family Medicine Residency as well as Director of Family Medicine and Urgent Care.

Dr. Christine Senn, Chief Implementation Officer
Dr. Senn, Ph.D, CPI, CCRC, ACRP-CP is responsible for transitioning research-naïve group practices into accomplished, multi-trial sites. She serves as QA reviewer, trainer, and logistics coordinator during setup. Dr. Senn holds her Ph.D. in Psychology and has Masters degrees in both Clinical Psychology and Advertising and Public Relations. Dr. Senn is also triple certified by the Association of Clinical Research Professionals as an ACRP Certified Professional (ACRP-CP), a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) and a Certified Principal Investigator (CPI). Since joining IACT Health in 2007, where she has worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator, Site Manager, and COO before moving to her current role.

Staff

Partnering with physicians and patient volunteers, we believe communication and education are key factors for our staff to help patients to better understand their medical condition(s). As such, our staff uses care when informing patient volunteers of their role in medical research. Once a patient has been referred to us, he or she is given a tour of our facility and meets our coordinators. Should your patient choose to participate in a clinical research study, he or she will be thoroughly monitored and frequently seen by our physicians and physician assistants.
