The Clinical Trials Office at Reading Hospital

The Clinical Trials Office has been specifically designed to meet the competitive demands of industry-sponsored trials. With investigators from diverse specialties, the clinical trials team serves as the fulcrum for excellent communication and service.

The Institution Review Board of Reading Health System meets monthly to review new and ongoing studies.

The staff has been thoroughly trained to negotiate the budgets and contracts, process IRB submissions and continuing reviews, coordinate the trials, process the regulatory paperwork, complete CRF’s, respond to sponsor queries, manage monitoring visits from sponsors, oversee billing process, work with departments and PI’s collaboratively to ensure all study-related needs are being met.

Reading Health System includes Reading Hospital, a 714-bed acute care hospital located in West Reading, Pennsylvania, and Reading Health Rehabilitation Hospital, a facility in Spring Township, featuring a 50-bed skilled nursing unit and a 62-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. We also provide office-based primary and specialty care through Reading Health Physician Network, in-home nursing care through Affilia Home Health, and retirement living through The Highlands at Wyomissing. An extensive network of outpatient services are provided through offices and Urgent Care walk-in centers throughout the region. Take an aerial tour of Reading Health System here.
