NEA Baptist Clinic is made up of over 110 physicians providing care in more than 35 medical specialties. The mission of NEA Baptist Clinic is to provide comprehensive, personalized, quality health care for patients throughout the Northeast Arkansas region.

NEA Baptist Clinic - Clinical Research Center is a fully dedicated research facility located within the largest multi-specialty group of physicians in the region. The clinical research center supports all physician specialties associated with clinical trials. The study coordinators are located with their Physician/PI to offer a more seamless system and more access to patient population.

The Fowler Family Center for Cancer Care is located on the northwest corner of the NEA Baptist medical campus. They are dedicated to providing comprehensive, personalized quality cancer care for their patients throughout the Northeast Arkansas region. The cancer center brings together the area's most respected oncology physicians in one extraordinary, comprehensive facility housing research, diagnosis, treatment and support side-by-side.

Services provided at the Cancer Center are radiation oncology, or radiation therapy, medical oncology, and infusion, including all diagnostics and testing.

NEA Baptist Clinic offers numerous services, including: a centralized imaging center with a breast-care facility, plus open-magnet MRI, CT scanner, ultrasound, bone densitometry equipment and hyperbaric chamber. Rheumatology has a dedicated infusion room, capable of managing 10 patients.

Cardiac testing is available from ultrasound imaging of the vascular system to nuclear testing to a free-standing cardiac catheterization lab. Full neurological testing is available in a neuroscience department featuring neurologists and neurosurgeons. Associated with this service is the region’s largest laboratory for blood testing on site.

Other services provided by NEA Baptist Clinic include audiology, allergy testing and treatment, optical shop, physical therapy, and laser eye treatments. A state of the art NEA Baptist Clinic Wellness Center is home to many programs for the community. The Volusion ultrasound equipment in our Women’s Clinic allows unbelievable images of the fetus.

Our History

In 1977, NEA Clinic was formed as a single practice with a moderate number of physicians and subspecialties. Our founders include Dr. Ray Hall, Dr. Michael Mackey, Dr. Robert Taylor, Dr. Michael Hightower, Dr. Stephen Woodruff, Dr. Anthony White, Dr. William Hubbard, Dr. Ronald Blachly, Dr. Michael Isaacson, Dr. Allen Nixon, and the late Dr. Hank Jordan. Since forming in 1977, NEA Baptist Clinic has become a multi-specialty, award-winning clinic and partner with NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. We have become a leader in clinical research and key provider of medical specialty services with hundreds of thousands of clinic visits each year.

Our 2010 merger with Baptist Memorial Health Care out of Memphis, TN was a strategic step toward providing for the long-term well-being of our community. Our progress includes the construction and completion of our new medical campus that opened January 2014. The campus is comprised of the 181-bed NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital, adjoining medical office building housing the specialty offices of NEA Baptist Clinic, and the first of its kind, free standing Fowler Family Center for Cancer Care.

The hospital offers extensive inpatient and outpatient services - emergency department, surgical services, neurology, respiratory care, cancer care, pulmonary rehabilitation and more. NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital also features advanced heart care through the Heart Center of NEA and labor & delivery through the hospital's Women's Center.

We're shaped by the evolving health care needs of our community. We're listening as our patients tell us what health is to them. And we're steadily developing new specialty services to meet their expectations - right here at home.
