Medical Parameters is a dedicated site which has a direct affiliation with two private practices, an allergy and dermatology clinic and a family practice. All three organizations are directed by Robert B Rhoades, MD, a board certified allergist and family physician. We have been conducting research since 1987 and are currently developing a network of physicians in order that we might better accommodate a greater variety of therapies.

Medical Parameters is situated inside the Evans-Martinez Medical Center in Augusta Georgia. We have excellent outpatient care facilities including respiratory and cardiovascular technology. The Medical Center is located on a main road central to the area and easily accessible. As the only research facility in the area, we are afforded a large section of the population in study recruitment.

In 1987 Dr. Rhoades founded the clinical research facility as an extension of his long-term practice in family medicine, pediatrics and allergy/immunology and has since directed over 50 studies as Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator.

Dr. Aton has brought to Medical Parameters over 40 years of expertise in the field of dermatology. Supervising clinical research trials since 1995, currently Dr. Aton is the Principal Investigator for psoriasis, rosacea and acne studies.

Faye Forbes, PA-C began clinical medicine in a family practice setting and in 1987 joined Dr. Rhoades in the area of clinical research. Over the last 16 years she has fulfilled the role of Clinical Research Coordinator and Sub-Investigator, overseeing approximately 40 studies

Lisa Mathes CMA
Coordinator
She has acted as pharmacist for a vaccine study, co-coordinator for several respiratory studies and is currently coordinator on several dermatology studies.

Molly Moss-Blundell BA
Coordinator
Molly is involved in the execution and documentation of clinical research studies: preparation of documents; labs; transcription, and patient care. Currently Molly is the coordinator of a Rosacea study.

Beth Weeks CMA
Coordinator
Beth has a duel role as nurse in family practice as well as participation in recent Medical Parameters studies. She has acted as coordinator in a vaccine study in addition to respiratory and dermatology studies.

Amanda Houston BS
Coordinator
Amanda has joined Medical Parameters with 2 years of research experience. She is currently the coordinator of several respiratory studies, and has previously worked in psychiatric clinical research while employed at the Medical College of Georgia.

Our patients are from both rural and urban areas as we are located on the outskirts of Augusta. We tend to attract people regardless of their age, gender or race, having had massive success with pediatric studies as well as geriatric.
