TBMR is a privately owned and independent research facility that specializes in multi-specialty clinical trials. Since our inception in 1985, we have been dedicated to quality research and patient safety. We have successfully completed over 600 clinical studies for more than 70 pharmaceutical and device companies.

Facility Description
TBMR is based on the west coast of Florida only minutes from the Tampa International Airport. Our office is located in Clearwater, Florida. Our operation is located in a modern health care facility near a large full service community hospital near Morton Plant Mease Countryside Hospital.

- Large locked medication room with 24 hour temperature recording
- Monitoring offices with high speed internet access (can accommodate up to three monitors)

Investigator Experience
Dr. Steven Bowman, MD and Dr. James Hampsey, MD established TBMR in 1986.
Dr. Bowman received his BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his MD from Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University.
Dr. Hampsey received his BA from Holy Cross College, Worchester, Massachusetts and his MD from the University of Rochester School of Medicine in Rochester, New York.
They are both board certified in Internal Medicine and have each been conducting clinical trials for over 21 years.
Staff Expertise
CEO - Terry Schroeder, RN
Ms. Schroeder has worked in clinical research for over 16 years.
She has been with TBMR since it formed in 1986. First hired as a
Senior Study Coordinator, she was promoted in 1991 to Director of
Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs. In 1993, Ms. Schroeder
was selected as the CEO, Director of Clinical Research.
Director Regulatory Affairs - Tausha Flux
Ms. Flux has been with TBMR since April 2000 as director of
regulatory affairs.
Clinic Director - Kim Stopnytsky RN,
CCRC
Ms. Stopnytsky has been in the health care field since 1976. She
joined our team in 1992 as a Research Coordinator and was promoted
to Clinical Director in 1998.
Director of Quality Assurance - Cathy Souder-LPN II,
CCRC
Ms. Souder has worked in the health care field since 1984. She
began with TBMR in 1993 as a research coordinator and in January
2003 was appointed the Director of Quality Assurance.

TBMR employees 6 CRC’s (3 of which are ACRP certified, 3 which are RNs, 1 LPN and 2 MAs) and 1 Hazmat Certified Lab Tech.)

There are approximately 2.2 million people from varied ethnic backgrounds living in the Tampa Bay area. The median age is 57. TBMR prides itself on rapid recruitment, consistently leading other multicenter study sites in patient enrollment.

TBMR is a member of The Alliance for Multi-Specialty Research, LLC, a consortium of 26 independently owned and operated clinical research sites. Data Entry proficiency with eCRF-EDC, PhaseForward, Inform, IVRS and other sponsor specific data entry and recruitment monitoring programs.

- Leg pain when walking.
- Osteoarthritis of the Knee (patch)
- Pneumonia Vaccine Study 70 years of age and older
- TBMR is enrolling for Rosacea of the Face
- This is a 5.5 year study for people between 50 and 59 years of age. Qualified participants will receive a Flu Vaccine and a Pneumonia Vaccine
- This study is for men who suffer with frequent urination due to an enlarged prostate
