Chase Medical Research, LLC, formerly known as the Clinical
Research Department of Phoenix Internal Medicine Associates, LLC.
is led by Joseph Soufer, MD, who specializes in Internal Medicine
with a sub-specialty of Endocrinology. Dr. Soufer has practiced
Internal Medicine in the Waterbury community for the past 25 years
and serves as Medical Director of the clinical research department
since the year 2000.
Chase Medical Research, LLC is affiliated with area specialists
in Neurology, Psychology, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology and
Obstetrics and Gynecology. Studies have been conducted in the
therapeutic areas of Women’s Health, Endocrinology, Cardiovascular,
Central Nervous System, Rheumatology, Men’s Health and Metabolic
Disorders. Chase Medical Research, LLC consists of partnering
physicians from the following specialty groups: Phoenix Internal
Medicine Associates, LLC, Digestive Disease Center of Connecticut
and Leonard I.Goldstein, PsyD of the Connecticut Resource Group.
All participating physicians are Board Certified in their specialty
areas of medicine.
Chase Medical Research, LLC consists of 3 FTE Clinical Research
Coordinators, 1 FTE Manager of Administrative Services, 1 FTE
Patient Recruitment Coordinator, 1 FTE Document
Specialist/Laboratory Assistant and 1 FTE Office Assistant. All
research is conducted in our Waterbury facility. We offer a
comfortable, efficient and a private workplace for CRA’s with
access to phone, fax and modem. Hotels are conveniently located
nearby.

Database queries are feasible in a short period of time in order to
pre-identify subjects for a rapid turn-around. The Research
