Facility Description
Heart of America Research Institute is located in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, which is only 15 minutes from the Center City, Kansas City, Missouri and 15 minutes from the Country Club Plaza. Our satellite site, is located in Topeka, Kansas. This dual facility allows us to draw from two separate populations which present different demographics opportunities.
We also provide a wide variety of specialized equiptment.
Our Facility is accessable to all of the greater Kansas City public transportation systems.

Staff Expertise
Our staff of professionals consist of nine Research Coordinators, including one Laboratory Technician/Microbiologist, a Regulatory/Administrative Specialist, a Subject Recruiter and a Director of inpatient and immunization services with over 20 years of clinical research experience, a PhD Pharmacologist, a PhD Pharmaceutical Scientist, and three Physicians (Board Certified in Internal Medicine; General, Pediatric and Vascular Surgery; and Internal Medicine/Gastroenterology).
Heart of America Research Institute also contracts with several independent physician specialists for specific studies.
