Facility Description
Novara provides its services from a strategically chosen
research site in Mesa, a suburb of Phoenix across from Banner
Baywood Medical Center and other medical facilities. These include
doctor's offices, surgery centers, laboratories, x-ray
facilities, and physical therapy and rehabilitation programs. Our
center has two exam rooms, two interview rooms, staff offices, a
well equipped laboratory with specimen refrigerator, ECG machine, a
secure room for study medications, a comfortable waiting room and
reception area, and two private offices with phone and data
connections for monitors.

Investigator Experience
Terry E. O'Reilly, M.D.
Medical Director
Dr. O’Reilly has been involved in various aspects of clinical
research for more than 15 years, including positions as Principal
Investigator, Medical Director, IRB Board Member and Senior Staff
Physician, and Director of Clinical Research. Dr. O’Reilly’s
training and private practice in family medicine reflect her broad
range of interest in areas of research.

Staff Expertise
Sue L. Ganter, LPN, CCRC
Certified Clinical Research Coordinator
Sue has been in the health care field for over 20 years. She has
been a research coordinator for more than 8 years in multiple
therapeutic areas including significant experience in the demanding
field of renal medicine. Sue also brings her expertise in
enrollment and retention to Novara.
Laura L. Streff, MS Receptionist/Patient
Recruiter
Laura is new to the clinical research field but has over 17 years
of experience in the health care area. Her experience working with
medical staff and patients and her commitment to patient
communication will add to Novara's reputation in the clinical
research community.

Patient Demographics
Novara is located in Mesa, Arizona, a suburb of Phoenix, the
fifth largest metropolitan area in the United Sates. The
demographics of Mesa are 85% Caucasian, 25% Hispanic, 2% Native
American, 2% African American, and 2% Asian or Pacific Islander.
Mesa is a popular retirement area and multiple retirement
communities are within 10 miles of the site.
