
Center Overview
The Center for Healthcare Innovation & Clinical Trials (CHI&CT) at the Arizona State University College of Nursing & Healthcare Innovation consists of University-based, outpatient ambulatory sites and at multiple community research partner sites (i.e., Hospitals, CROs, etc).
The mission of the CHI&CT is to serve as a recognized, national linchpin among clinicians, biotechnical organizations, scientists, collaborating healthcare institutions, and community partners to advance healthcare through the creation of evidence-based innovative products and educational programs.

Clinical Research Experience
ASU's bioscience faculty members in its colleges have extensive experience in its biomedical engineering, bio-informatics, and biomedical research across the care continuum.. Established in 2006 to integrate University biomedical trial capabilities, the Center is located on the new Downtown Phoenix Biomedical Campus near the University of Arizona College of Medicine, which is in collaboration with ASU.

Facility Description
The College of Nursing & Healthcare Innovation operates five state-licensed outpatient ambulatory care facilities in Phoenix, Tempe and Scottsdale for students, faculty, staff and the public. ASU research facilities include the ASU BioDesign Institute, Avarium, multiple research and testing labs, and DNA processing, etc.

Additional CRC, PI, Regulatory Affairs, and administrative staff support multiple clinical trials for drugs, devices, biologies, vaccines, health process, service and outcome research projects.

Patient Demographics
65,000 students and 22,000 employees in addition to more than 10,000 patients at its five health centers and mobile health unit.
