Perimeter Clinical Research, LLC is a research division of Perimeter Clinic, a premier private practice specializing in Internal Medicine.
Perimeter Clinical Research is a multi-specialty research center. We provide Phase I-IV trial management and centralized study services to pharmaceutical companies and clinical research organizations.
Our center offers professional research expertise. We have a full-time trained Clinical Research Coordinator who has extensive experience in clinical research and a Medical Director, who is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
Our research facility is computerized to ensure the accuracy of data collection and to maintain a patient database for future clinical trials.

Facility Description
Perimeter Clinical Research is located in Atlanta which is the capital and the most populous city in the state of Georgia, and the core city of the ninth most populous metropolitan area in the United States.
Our center is the outpatient facility.

Located two blocks from Northside Hospital, Atlanta and St. Joseph's Hospital, Atlanta
Has dedicated monitoring area for Clinical Research Associates with DSL connections and access to telephone, fax, copier

Perimeter Clinical Research is located near major highways 285 and 400, 25 miles away (33 min) from Hartsfield -Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Alex E. Rikhter, MD, Medical DirectorBoard Certified in Internal Medicine
Dr.Rikhter completed the Internal Medicine Residency at Sinai Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He has extensive training and expertise in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Family Practice, and Occupational Medicine. Dr. Rikher has been practicing as a physician at his private practice, Perimeter Clinic, for 8 years during which he won the trust of many patients, who rely on his medical knowledge and expertise to find the best possible medical or surgical treatment for their ailments. His practice has an electronic clinical database containing approximately 15,000 patient records.
Dr. Rikhter specializes in treatment of patients ages 12 through geriatrics and he treats patients with a variety of medical conditions in the following therapeutic areas :
- Endocrinology
- Cardiovascular
- Connective tissue disorders
- Rheumatology
- Gastrointestinal
- other clinical areas
Dr. Rikhter is well respected by his colleagues in the Atlanta medical community. He is the attending physician at St. Joseph's Hospital, Northside Hospital and Piedmont Hospital of Atlanta, Georgia.

Mila Epshteyn, BS MT (ASCP), CCRC
Director of Clinical Research
Mila Epshteyn graduated from The State University of New York at Buffalo with a BS Degree in Medical Technology . She graduated with Honors, Summa Cum Laude. She is certified as a Medical Technologist by the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
Mila Epshteyn has a strong clinical laboratory background obtained from working as a Medical Technologist for 10 years in the clinical laboratory at several hospitals such as Children's Hospital of Buffalo, NY, Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA, Eastside Emory Medical Center in Atlanta, GA and Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA.
In 2000, Mrs. Epshteyn started her career in Clinical Research at Quintiles Global Central Laboratories, Ltd. as a Project Manager.
In 2006, she transitioned into Quintiles Clinical Development Services as an in- house Clinical Research Associate (Monitor).
In March of 2007, Mrs. Epshteyn continued her clinical research career with Pharmaceutical Product Development, Inc as a Clinical Research Associate(Monitor).
She traveled extensively through the southeast region conducting routine monitoring visits of clinical research centers to verify that the rights and well being of patients who participate in clinical trials are protected, ensure accuracy of study data and that the studies are conducted according to the GCP, protocol and regulatory requirements.
In June 2008, Mila Epshteyn joined Perimeter Clinical Research as a Clinical Research Coordinator and Director of Clinical Research. Mrs. Epshteyn has extensive clinical research experience in multiple therapeutic areas:
- Infections Diseases: Coccidioidomycosis
- Oncology: Prostate Cancer
- Hematology: Hemolytic Anemia caused by Chemotherapy
- Mental Disorders: Schizophrenia
- Nervous System:Anxiety,Multiple Sclerosis
- Circulatory: Cardiac Arrhythmia
- Gastroenterology: Ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, Dyspepsia, Irritable Bowel Syndrome with Diarrhea
- Genitourinary: Interstitial Cystitis, Urinary Incontinence
