Horizon Clinical Research Associates is located in the East Valley of the Phoenix metro area. Our dedicated research site was established in 2000 and has participated in approximately 60 clinical trials. Our focus is Primary Care (Phase II-IV outpatient), with the Medical Directors acting as Investigators. We also have specialty capabilities in multiple areas.

Quality and efficiency characterize our site, which has established a reputation for producing consistently clean data, low query rate, and timely completion of regulatory documents and CRF’s.

Horizon Clinical Research is a free-standing 2200 sq. ft. outpatient investigational site. We have 3 exam rooms, lab drawing with access to local lab, ECG, -20° freezer, locked and temperature monitored drug storage, private monitor room, and computer/remote data entry capability. We use Central IRB’s almost exclusively.

Our Medical Directors have 13 years combined experience in clinical trials and have been P.I. or Sub-I on approximately 60 studies. They are Board Certified in Family Practice and have over 30 years of combined patient care experience, and are now solely dedicated to clinical research.

The East Valley region has a population of over 1 million people, including a significant percentage of seniors, who have been well motivated to participate in clinical research. Many of our participants come from our own database as well as the private practices with which we are affiliated. We also use IRB approved ads and flyers to recruit subjects from the community.
