NavigationArts launches digital platform for JAX
NavigationArts, a McLean, Va.-based full-service digital agency, has launched The Jackson Laboratory’s (JAX) new digital platform, jax.org. The new site focuses on providing an intuitive user experience with easy access to content.
The new Web platform is built to communicate the lab’s many research services and offerings to a broad audience including scientists, donors, employees and patients. By overhauling the entirety of the site with discoverable content, forward-thinking design and a repositioned brand, and building it on a flexible, component-based system, NavigationArts has developed a new digital platform that allows JAX to be fully accessible for genetic research.
Built on the Sitecore 7.2 CMS platform, jax.org will accommodate new content as the organization grows and evolves. Using a series of customizable components, JAX is able to offer researchers the tools they need to present their research. Integration with SharePoint 2013 search and JAX’s custom mouse search Application Programming Interface allows customers to easily search and access information on the site.
