The Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) and the U.K.-based International Academy of Clinical Research (IAoCR), provider of accreditation, training and consultancy for clinical researchers, are collaborating to offer services and establish recognized global standards of clinical research.

The services provided by the two organizations, when combined, provide a wider and more in-depth provision of professional development services to the clinical research community. While the two will continue to operate independently, a combined catalog of services will be made available through each organization's network, expanding both the depth of offerings each provides and significantly increasing global accessibility.

Provisions will be made for a joint training program to U.S. trainers that will facilitate the delivery of IAOCR accreditation programs in the U.S. market.

Long-term, the collaboration will offer a wider range of services focused on competence verification and professional development by combing the expertise and influence both organizations have achieved in their individual specialties and geographical locations.
