Sporotrichosis

Sporotrichosis is a fungal infection caused by the fungus Sporothrix schenckii. It typically affects the skin, but can also involve the lungs, bones, and joints. The infection is usually acquired through contact with contaminated soil or vegetation, or through contact with infected animals.
