Macular Degeneration
Macular degeneration is a chronic eye disease that affects the macula, the central part of the retina. It causes a gradual loss of central vision, making it difficult to read, drive, or recognize faces. There are two types of macular degeneration: dry and wet, with the latter being more severe and requiring immediate medical attention.
