A Study to Investigate the Efficacy and Safety of Tezepelumab in Adult Participants With Moderate to Very Severe COPD (D5241C00007)
This is a Phase 3, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel group study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of tezepelumab in adults with moderate to very severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) receiving inhaled maintenance therapy and having had at least 2 moderate, or 1 severe, COPD exacerbations in the 12 months prior to Visit 1. Subjects will receive monthly subcutaneous injection of one of two different doses of tezepelumab, or placebo, with a maximum treatment duration of 76 weeks and a minimum of 52 weeks. The study also includes a off-treatment safety follow-up period of 12 weeks.

Prevalence of Ethnic Neutropenia and Duffy Null Phenotype in Neonates
This is a prospective, observational cohort study designed to evaluate the prevalence of the Duffy null phenotype (Fya-/Fyb-) and its association with ethnic neutropenia in neonates born at Kaplan Medical Center in Israel. The Duffy null phenotype has been linked to lower peripheral neutrophil counts without increased infection risk in certain ethnic groups, a condition commonly referred to as benign ethnic neutropenia. Cord blood samples will be collected from approximately 1,000 neonates during routine G6PD testing. An additional 3 mL will be obtained non-invasively from the umbilical cord after labour to determine the expression of Duffy antigens using serologic gel testing. Parental consent will be obtained, and information regarding ethnicity and family history of neutropenia will be collected. Participants identified with the Duffy null phenotype will be followed through electronic health records to assess their neutrophil counts during routine blood screening at 9-12 months of age. The study will analyze associations between Duffy phenotype, neutropenia prevalence, and parental ethnic origin. Findings may support improved diagnostic clarity around neonatal neutropenia and help reduce unnecessary interventions in otherwise healthy infants with genetically determined low neutrophil counts.

A Phase III Renal Outcomes and Cardiovascular Mortality Study to Investigate the Efficacy and Safety of Baxdrostat in Combination With Dapagliflozin in Participants With Chronic Kidney Disease and High Blood Pressure
The purpose of this study is to investigate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of baxdrostat in combination with dapagliflozin, compared with placebo and dapagliflozin, in reducing the risk of the composite of > 50% decline in eGFR, kidney failure, or CV death, in individuals with CKD and HTN. This study consists of a 4-week dapagliflozin Run-in Period for participants untreated with SGLT2i at screening, and a double-blinded period where participants will receive either baxdrostat/dapagliflozin or placebo/dapagliflozin. Site visits will take place at 2-, 4-, 8-, 16-, 34, and 52-weeks following randomisation. Thereafter visits will occur approximately every 4 months. The study closure procedures will be initiated when the predetermined number of primary endpoint events is predicted to have occurred ie, the PACD. All randomised participants including any participants who have prematurely discontinued study intervention will be scheduled for a SCV within a few weeks of the PACD. This period can be extended by the Sponsor. In case of premature discontinuation of blinded study intervention, participants will continue in the study and receive dapagliflozin 10 mg, unless the participant meets dapagliflozin specific discontinuation criteria. If study intervention is temporarily or permanently discontinued, the participant should remain in the study, and it is important that the scheduled study visits (including the PTDV for participants with permanent discontinuation of study intervention) and data collection continue according to the study protocol until the SCV.

Evaluating the Safety and Efficacy of AMOR-1 As a Treatment for Hypocalcemia Associated with Hypoparathyroidism in Adults
AMOR-1 contains Amorphous Calcium Carbonate (ACC) nanoparticles, which provide higher calcium absorption and bioavailability compared to the crystalline form. Therefore, significantly smaller doses of elemental calcium provided by ACC may be sufficient to maintain the desired serum calcium levels in people with hypoparathyroidism. The lower calcium doses can potentially reduce the adverse effects, associated with long-term, high daily doses of calcium supplementation, consumed by these patients. The main question for the study is: Can replacing the current calcium supplement with AMOR-1, which contains half the amount of elemental calcium, maintain blood calcium levels in people with hypoparathyroidism? Patients with a history of hypoparathyroidism will be randomized in a 2:1 ratio to receive either AMOR-1 or Control (the conventional crystalline calcium carbonate supplement), respectively. Their current dose of calcium supplement will be gradually replaced with AMOR-1 or the Control over 2-4 weeks. At the end of the replacement phase, participants in the AMOR-1 arm are anticipated to receive 50% of the elemental calcium compared to their initial intake from the crystalline calcium supplements. Subjects in the Control arm will maintain their initial elemental calcium intake. Following this replacement phase, the participants will continue receiving their individual dose of AMOR-1 or the Control for an additional 10-12 weeks (Dose Maintenance phase). At the end of this phase, the participants will revert to their initial calcium supplement and will be monitored for an additional month until the end of the study. All participants will receive an active form of vitamin D in parallel to the study treatment. Throughout the study, participants will be routinely monitored for safety and efficacy, including calcium levels in the blood and urine.

A Dose Range-Finding Study to Assess the Efficacy and Safety of Multiple Dose Levels of AZD8630 in Adults With Uncontrolled Asthma at Risk of Exacerbations
This is a Phase II, randomised, placebo-controlled, double-blind, dose range-finding, multi-centre study to assess the efficacy and safety of inhaled AZD8630 administered at 3 doses via an inhaler in adult patients with uncontrolled asthma, at risk of an exacerbation. The study duration up to 57 weeks for participants in the optional safety extension study and up to 17 weeks for those not included. The maximal treatment period is up to 52 weeks. This study will be conducted in approximately 220 centres in 20-25 countries. Approximately 516 patients will be randomised globally
